Warehouse Specialist ( Manufacturing )

Job Summary

Warehouse Specialist responsible in supporting the overall operation by managing documentation, maintaining records, and assisting with administrative tasks that ensure the smooth flow of Warehouse activities.

Role and Responsibilities

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and proper records of incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments, inventory levels, and stock movement in ERP system.

• Coordinate with the forwarder (3PL) to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any documents discrepancies.

• Assist in preparing and reviewing shipping documents, including hauler’s invoice, delivery order (DO), packing list, fumigation, and incoming raw material labels.

• Assist Product Engineer courier FG / RM or molding plaque to customer or corporate for evaluation and Lab testing respectively.

• Assist to receive and acknowledge of MRO items, spare parts for respective departments.

• Handling and following up Supplier Complaint Analysis Report (SCAR) with Procurement person in charge when necessary.

Inventory Management:

• Assist in inventory management task, such as conducting regular stock check and assisting with periodic daily cycle-count.

• Participate in Mid-year & Year-End-Stock Take.

Communication:

• Collaborate with warehouse operation team to ensure proper documents are completed for all shipments and orders.

• Communicate effectively with Logistic, Procurement, Customer Service, Production and Laboratory to ensure accurate and timely information flow.

• Follow up closely with 3PL on containers (Laden and Empty) movement to prevent container parking yard congested.

Other Specific Requirement:

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of administrative workflows.

• Maintaining a clean and organized administrative workplace within warehouse premises.

• Provide backup support for other warehouse administrative tasks as needed.

• Comply with the safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum Nitec or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse operations or logistics coordination.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with ERP systems, warehouse operations and inventory management systems is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling products and inventory.

• Good problem-solving, administrative and report-writing skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage work effectively under pressure.

• Positive attitude, reliability and adaptability to changing priorities.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday on a rotating shift basis.

7:00am – 3:00pm / 4:00pm

8:30am – 5:30pm

2:00pm / 3:00pm – 11:00pm
